What is attachment therapy?
Attachment-based psychotherapy helps you understand how early relationships and childhood experiences may still be shaping how you think, feel, and respond today, especially in work and close relationships. By understanding your attachment patterns, therapy helps you recognise emotional triggers, reduce self-criticism, and understand why certain behaviours developed as ways to cope or survive. With this awareness, you can begin to change unhelpful patterns, build a more secure sense of self, and develop healthier, more balanced relationships with others.
Our free initial consultation can help you decide if a counsellor is the right fit for you. If you aren't sure who may be best to help you or want to speak to someone first to ask any questions, fill in the contact form (https://www.churchill-square-counselling.com/meet-the-team-at-churchill-square-counselling)and we will get in touch to help.
